Wipe out grubs! Grub worms are a subsurface insect that can destroy lawns OVERNIGHT.
Grubs are whitish, "C" shaped and wormlike. In our area the highest population is annual white grubs. Grubs feed on grass roots until the grass dries out and dies. The turf can be pulled back easily like a carpet. Little critters love these insects. To get to them they dig up your lawn aiding in your lawns destruction.
Just a couple of grubs per square foot are not a problem to an otherwise healthy lawn. Ten or more per square foot warrants treatment. A once a year preventative treatment is strongly recommended.
Unfortunately, grubs continue to populate and are here to stay.
